Message: Every time I've been had the same server. She is very polite and friendly, food is always good in my opinion. The prices are comparable to other restaurants. The restaurant is always clean and very pleasant to dine their. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Message: Great place to stop and get a bite to eat while traveling. Really good food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend it to others.

Message: Quaint little restaurant just off of I77 in the northern part of North Carolina. It was fairly empty when we got there, filling up as we were leaving. Waitresses were friendly but not very attentive. Spouse got unsweetened tea, took her a bit to refill it.. and then she filed it with sweet tea twice. He just ended up drinking it.. His chef salad was a very nice size with lots of lettuce and a decent amount of meat and cheese. Onion rings were fresh and hot (we ate most of the basket before I took the picture). Meatloaf is a little sweet, but mixed with my pinto beans, it was delicious as leftovers. Corn fritters were yummy.

Message: Worth the stop. Little country restaurant. The beef tips and popcorn shrimp were on point. Skip the loaded potato. Very good collards and corn fritters. Green beans and fried okra met expectations.

Message: The veggie omlett was delicious, and I enjoyed the warm apples and biscut. The waitress and the person who served my breakfest was very friendly. Great atmosphere. I would definitely go back. The view is probably beautiful when it's not so cloudy.

Message: Wow. Salt and Pepper Catfish is really good. Huge pieces! (The fish on the plate was just one piece) Sweet potato casserole! Hush puppies were tasty. Creamy mac n cheese! I'll be back

Message: I spent the night right across the street from this wonderful restaurant. I had dinner and breakfast here. Both were fantastic. The server made me feel a part of the family. The food was great and the prices were much better than I expected for the quantity and quality of the food. I had eaten here a couple years ago as well, and it was noteworthy enough that this influenced where I made my stopover as I knew I could get good food here. Will definitely stop in again when I'm passing through.

Message: Stopped here looking for some home style cooking and sweet tea! The menu is large, definitely something for everyone including the picky eaters. The staff certainly had that southern hospitality you would expect walking into a place such as this, everyone was great. The food was not overly impressive but it was still good. Some things were bland that we ordered like it was just out of the freezer while other things tasted pretty good and fresh made. Definitely worth a stop if passing through for decent food and good prices.
