Message: Good mechanics, this place was built in 1939 & Cary is about to bulldoze it down to make an oyster bar.. Sad Cary won't save any old buildings.

Message: I took my son's car to Gurkan's since it stopped running. I was sure the fuel pump was bad. They checked the car thoroughly and determined the car had bad fuel. Checking with my son he confirmed a day before the car stopped running he filled gas at a pump, but the pump was extremely slow (clogged by something?). They explained there is no reason to replace the pump and explained how to treat the fuel. Excellent service, trustworthy business and honest people. Bravo!

Message: It's refreshing to find an honest mechanic who does and talk like mechanic. I was surprised to find one inCary right where I live. I have had few visit and always had gotten an honest diagnostic of problems with fare and reasonable estimate. I have seen few reviewers who had problem with their attitude, I find their attitude better than expected. They are not sales people with fake smile, they are mechanics and have great attitude when you give them professional respect.

Message: Great Experience - My first medium size (timing belt replacement ) repair done at this shop and they were great. Did exactly what they said they would do, and found other issues they took care of at a very reasonable price. I always go there for my inspections, which they do very quickly, and I'll go back for anything else now as well.

Message: So happy to have discovered Gurkan's! I needed to have my vehicle inspected and they were able to not only fit me in that day, but fit me in quickly! The owners are so ridiculously nice and fun to talk to. To be honest, I kind of wish the inspection took longer so I could stay and chat more. Learned that they have been in business for 41 years - with this type of service, it's no wonder why.. While I'll keep my fingers crossed that the next time that I need to go to Gurkan's will be next year.. likely the day my inspection is up.. :-X I'll definitely have these guys as my go-to for any other mechanical issues.
